How to meet men who are on Facebook or LinkedIn?
Reach out! That’s how I do it, even before I started doing the matchmaking thing—which, yeah, does make it easier.
Write a quick little professional email saying something like, “Hey, I noticed you in the feed (or on a mutual contact’s page or, again, whatever) and wondered if you might like to get together for a coffee and see how we can support each other’s businesses? Is that a ‘Yes’?”
It is fun, professional and gives you the opportunity to maybe get face to face. If you meet and didn’t realize his profile pic was from 15 year ago, so what, maybe you can support each other’s businesses!
If he doesn’t reply or says “no,” so what? Next!
For Facebook, I’d just be straight up—“Man, you’re a sight for sore eyes! Are you on the market or not so much? ;)”
No guy, single, shacked up, straight or gay is going to feel bad about getting a compliment.
