In my Double Your Online Dating training video program I tell you exactly how to write a good dating site profile, how to write a first message that’ll get a reply and how to follow up.
In the meantime, the best example of how to write a good dating site profile is to share an example of one.
The key point you’ll notice is the authenticity.
Never try to be something or someone you’re not already or aren’t actively working toward becoming.
That’s called fibbing. Or acting.
But either way, you’ll have to play that roll for, like, everrr if she likes it /that fake you.
By the way, I helped this man with his profile over four years ago.
A few months later, he met the lady he’s still with today.
Tagline: ‘Khan’ I find my spiritual soulmate here?
Although we have our healthy differences, we both have a knowing that we are spirit and are thus having a delicious human experience filled with peaks and valleys!
We’re here to evolve through loving and accepting ourselves while letting go of fear, accepting what is and loving all others and all beings alike.
We feel enthused to practice these spiritual beliefs being joyful to express love in all forms and allowing all other feelings to enter our being 🙂
Even naughty and/or not so nice ones :))
They all need our attention and our love.
Through exercise, a healthy diet, and conscious living we nourish ourselves: physically, mentally and spiritually.
I love yoga! Prefer hot flow style classes mostly and a scattered Yin to bring me back home when I’m out there.
Enjoy trail running and, lately, I’ve been enjoying doing the [local] staircase.
I like weight training; the strength it provides gives me the ability to take on more vigorous physical chores in my yard and garden!
I prefer you to be slim and not over weight and ideally a tad bit shorter than I 🙂 I’m 5’10”.
I volunteer at the Comox Valley Food Bank and help strangers, friends and family where ever I can.
We are on mindful paths fulfilling our passions and/or inner meanings in this incarnation.
I’m most recently enjoying expanding my creative ideas through woodworking art.
I satisfy my spiritual fetish via Matt Kahn and Abraham YouTube videos! A heartfelt calling of mine still awaits but I know is soon to be within my reach.
Could this be you?
I’ve been told that I’m too picky. It’s true, I used to be.
I was really focused on appearance. Oh how I have expanded! Recently I am truly attracted to inner beauty: your caring, your giving, your acceptance of others will overtake me.
I’ve been independent and semi-retired for some time, making it easy to focus on myself.
Though I am entirely open to sharing space with someone who accepts me as I am 🙂
I am highly sensitive to my and others’ energy. I don’t eat animals. If you do then you will need your own fridge 🙂
Certain qualities I find really attractive in a partner…
Forgetting your cell phone. Love it!!
If you stop the car to pick up trash left on the side of the road, kudos to you!
Offering money to persons in need and/or complimenting a street performer gives you big time bonus points!!
…home and garden decor and have a large, landscaped yard and organic veggie garden and love being, working and admiring it as much as possible.
Arts and crafts! I make custom belt buckles out of recycled skateboards and am recently prepping my shop for wonderful loving spiritually designed cedar wood products.
Also looking forward to road trips and travel.
My future travel plans include Europe, Africa, and mountainous areas like the Himalayas.
We get up in the morning, preferably not at exactly the same time so we can enjoy our own space, eat a healthy breakfast that one of us has prepared (we both cook: sometimes together, sometimes not), wind into the day quietly with tea or a book.
Then we’ll hit the Farmers’ Market, lingering to enjoy the live music (I love music! Nahko, Trevor Hall, Dub FX).
We’ll gather up a picnic and camping supplies and take a short hike in nature to a high lookout or some other scenic venue, maybe take a dip, then find a camping spot, ideally next to the ocean.
I’ll build the fire while you help set up camp. (Maybe one day we’ll have a camper trailer.)
The rest I’m sure you can imagine. Namaste!
I’ll bet you can kind of imagine what kind of person this is, right?
That’s because we focused on his unique qualities. Nothing boring and generic.
You don’t need all the women just the right woman.
Sorry, I don’t offer profile reviews or write-ups anymore, but my Double Your Online Dating training video program will teach you how to write a good dating site profile.
p.s. Beyond how to write a good dating site profile, improve your chances of getting the gal you really want with my comprehensive WakeUP2Luv video program.
p.p.s. To those who (rightfully) wonder if writing such a long profile is advisable… here’s my reply:
If you can make it more concise, so much better. But write relative to the site/app you’re on.
Here’s what I mean…
If you’ve ever tried to get into eHarmony, it’s like drafting a thesis.
The more info required to get to the finish (your profile) line, the more you can get away with in your actual profile.
Dating apps like Tinder require very little, which is why it’s mostly used by the young and / or horny for hookups.
This fellas opening line with an “inside” mention of Khan would likely only have appealed to those who knew the reference (Matt Kahn).
The proof is in the pudding, he’s still with her today, almost five years later.
But the key takeaway isn’t to droll on unnecessarily (like I’m doing now lol), but to be unique and specific with what you do choose to write.
