Fellas, Here’s How to Flirt
As with any new skill we learn, learning how to flirt when you’re shy comes with practice. Practice begins wherever we are now.
But ain’t nothing gonna change, Carlos, if you don’t collect all your courage and begin.
Note: This message isn’t directed at the Charlos’ of the world. That just sounded good.
Watch the video for some specific tips. Start where you are. But do start.
Also! Bonus tip here because you deserve it for reading the fine print …
Here’s how to create a new skill or habit:
- Try to do first step of the “the new thing” slightly out of your comfort zone.
- Do it over and over and over. (The wee goal: Practice!)
- Be consistent until the new thing becomes second nature.
Thoughts are physical pathways in the brain! They are electrical, chemical and physiological. Scientists can show you on a brain scan. True story.
As with a muscle, it takes effort, repetition and time to build. If we take a break from “trying,” we lose our progress and have to start over. “Trying” because we’re not fully doing the thing until we’re competent, which is to say: doing it the way we want to be.
By the way, when we get good at several things, it helps boost our confidence in other areas, related or not.
Start here, Charlos, you got this!

I've been single for 15 years. Im not wanting it but since living alone and there's nothing to drive me other than disappointment. I'm very shy plus being retired and that has increased my loss of trying,I guess you might say it is my fault that I don't get out and try. Well at 63 I don't have anything else to say but I give up. The online dating was disappointing enough to take my try away. So I know it's my end of life for me. Without a partner in life, it has been a loss of my motivation to find joy and happiness for myself. The dating site situation took a real toll on my outlook, so I feel my life is over and I don't care anymore and yes it's my fault and it's been all I can take. Nothing you can do for me and yes it's my pity and no one else. I'm just going to be in my own disappointment no one else's.
