Change beliefs. Build Confidence. Get the Girl.
It’s our shitty stories about ourselves that results in why we self-sabotage finding love.
Do you…
- Hesitate to approach women because you don’t know what to say?
- Second guess your worth before you’ve even met her?
- Beat yourself up for missing yet another opportunity?
Are you sick and tired of feeling stuck and lonely?
If you answered, “Yes” to any of these questions, then you’ve got some self-defeating belief systems rolling around in your noggin’.
Let’s review.
Why We Self-Sabotage aka Hesitate or Chicken Out When Approaching Women
It ain’t because you don’t know what to say. It ain’t because you don’t want to come across as a douchebag. It ain’t because you’re not sure whether she’s giving you “yes” signals or not.
What? Yes, it is, Anna!
Actually, that’s the story we tell ourselves. But the underlying truth is—we fear rejection and don’t think we can handle the consequences of it.
Current belief: If I know all the right things to say, I’ll save myself from rejection.
Truth: You could have a whole book of pick-up lines memorized and still get rejected.
Better belief: I may suck at talking to women right now, but no one got good at anything without a fuck tonne of practice and courage. I’m brave.
Goal belief: I’m a magnetically attractive man, and women are drawn to me. Talking to women is easy. Bam.
Guess what? We all—including me—have limiting beliefs that hold us back in life.
Why We Self-Sabotage Takeaway
Even though we have certain beliefs—stories—that we tell ourselves, they’re not necessarily the truth. If the story doesn’t serve us, we can change it.
This post was short and sweet. Maybe like the next girl you talk to.
In my next post, I’ll share how to change crappy beliefs so you can get a girlfriend and fast track to the fun parts!
