You long for her but suspect you’ll be in the #friendzone forever and need to know what the signs she’s not into you are because you’re too close to the situation to think clearly.

Here’s the thing… if you haven’t declared your feelings to her, she can’t just come out and say, “Hey, I’m not interested.”

That would be awkward.

So, since you’ve only hinted to her of your interest through your behaviours, then she has to do the same: hint to you that she’s not into you.

Keep this in mind: She doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.

  1. Doesn’t reply to text or sends short replies.
  2. Doesn’t send flirt emojis.
  3. Says or texts “Awww ☺️…” to your compliments.
  4. Doesn’t reciprocate compliments.
  5. Takes forever to reply during text/IM conversations.
  6. Doesn’t try to keep a convo going.
  7. Is always “too busy” to see you.
  8. Cancels plans (especially if it’s to ___…)
  9. Doesn’t include you in her world.
  10. Puts physical space between you.
  11. Argues. (Hint: this is not a test!)
  12. Never initiates convo or asks to hang out.
  13. Only sees you if she has no other plans.
  14. Talks about guys she likes.
  15. Avoids being tagged with you on social media.
  16. Is vague when you ask her out.
  17. Doesn’t try to reschedule plans with you.
  18. Avoids running into you in public.
  19. Avoids being alone with you.
  20. Doesn’t do couple-y things with you.
  21. Always let’s you pay or…
  22. Never let’s you pay!

Yep, the more of these signs you’ve seen, the more likely you are in the friend zone, my friend.

p.s. Got my results back from the overnight sleep clinic assessment. Apparently, I never hit delta (deep) sleep and I partially woke up 22.4 times/hr (about every 3 minutes) due to lack of oxygen because of a jaw problem. No wonder I’m always exhausted. Solution: jaw physio (crazy) and a custom mouth guard. I’ll be the belle of the ball! 😉 Also, I’m low in Mg.

Wow! So sorry to hear about your jaw issue. That’s the worst.
I’ve been watching your videos and signed into WAKUP2LUV. I’m a very young 64-yo retired Fire Chief who found himself back in the game after losing the love of my life and best friend to mental illness.
You’ve been a tremendous help to me regaining confidence in myself…and it’s worked. Just got back from a four day Paso Robles wine adventure with a new friend.

FYI, I keep trying to donate via Paypal but get a session error even though I’m logged in.

What do I do when we dated a few times — so she knows how I feel — and she subsequently put me in the friend zone, but now we spend at least a couple nights a week together (this over the five weeks)? Over the past eight days, it will have been six nights! (No kissing or anything, just a hug hello and goodnight.) She flirts a little, but that’s it.

This is absurd. I’m falling hard for this woman and can’t help myself. I think about her to the exclusion of throwing away dates with other women. I keep trying to put things in perspective and keep it light, because I know that she has no romantic interest, but she makes me feel things that I thought I’d never feel again. I’d tell her that I need time away but I’d feel terrible not talking to her every day.

Life can be messy sometimes.
