When a man says, “I’m fine” he probably means he’s fine.
When a woman says, “I’m fine” there could be a multitude of meanings—99% of them mean she’s not fine.
Most other women can narrow down the misleading statement of “I’m fine” to a specific truth, offering a sliding scale of “not fine” meanings.
From the beginning of Homo sapien creation, when we were running around the dusty plains in immodest loincloths, women have honed the skill of attention to the minute details of their environment.
Women had to learn to read each others’ subtle signs or risk drawing attention from wild beasts—not the men—and getting eaten alive—again, not by the men.
By the way, I have no idea if oral sex existed in Neanderthal days. But I digress.
Anyway, women, by instinctively intuiting the meaning of tonality, inflection, subtle body language, and much more, are still the masters of picking up on the unspoken. Or even re-interpreting what is spoken.
(Women were likely a lot more accurate back in the day. Take note, ladies! Our assumptions are often as wrong as wearing jeans to the symphony.)

Men think about one thing at a time—this one thing, whatever the thing is—right at this minute. Men are singularly focused.
Women keep track of everything all at once—the things she needs to do now, yesterday, tomorrow, in 20 minutes, plus the things you “should” be doing. Everything. All of it—from the dawn of time to after you’ve bought lawn fertilizer together and have seven grandkids. All at once. Forever.
Therefore, your favourite phrase will from now on and forever be, “Please help me remember, my lovely brainy goddess from Goddess Land.” Or similar facsimile.
Ladies, you gotta give the guys a break.
